After several years of writing as a closet musician, Birmingham native Josh Vasa teamed up with Mac Kramer, Beau Treadwell, Scott Clemmons and Brad Lyons in late 2007 to form VASA.

Merging the singer/songwriter talents of Vasa with the Jazz, Funk and Rock backgrounds of its bandmembers, VASA strives to create a diverse array of music that merges multipe genres while still retaining elements of pop melodies and traditional funk and rock rhythms. Tracks from VASA's recently recorded Demo entitled "Ba, Ba, Ba" include an eclectic mix of influences ranging from The Police and The Beatles, to Radiohead and Wilco.
